New show opening this Saturday in Dave King’s beautiful Shippon Gallery at his home deep in the Blackdown Hills. Finding the venue is the first challenge, and a very beautiful one at this time of year. I, Dave and good friend Jenny Graham are showing work that has not been seen before. Dave, best known for large scale abstract sculpture, is showing these big ceramic pieces for the first time. Jenny and I have been exploring and experimenting with techniques to play with found objects, surfaces, woodlands….Nothing is quite as it seems.
