Making new work to include with a retrospective show of tapestries and prints that will open at The Slade Centre in Gillingham on July 8th. Really looking forward to this – it will be the first time I have gathered together work from the past 20 years or more, and working with curator Anne Hitchcock is proving a really fruitful experience. So the stripes continue, but these new pieces will be shown alongside my long series of works about mending. Meanwhile, Dorset Visual Arts are putting together a great new publication, ‘Making Dorset’. This will be a selected 50 makers living and working in Dorset, and I am very pleased to have been included. The book will be launched the first weekend in July. So more about that soon.
